Croft supports SOFEA (Didcot) following flooding
SOFEA is a charity who supports vulnerable young people with education, employability and wellbeing, as well as addressing food insecurity through surplus food redistribution.
Unfortunately, Storm Bert caused severe infrastructure damage to SOFEA’s Didcot base in November 2024, which led to temporary disruptions to their educational programmes and surplus food distributions. After hearing about the challenges that SOFEA had experienced in getting back up and running following the flooding, Croft was keen to support.
In a recent update, the Croft Team were pleased to hear that our donation has been used to purchase a new fridge and an industrial dishwasher for the staff and young people’s kitchen – this is the first time there has been a working fridge in this space since the flooding!
Croft looks forward to continuing to support SOFEA and the important work that they do for our local community.
