Croft successfully completes delivery of SAFKEG® 3979 LS containers

Croft has recently completed the delivery of 24 SAFKEG® 3979 LS Type B(U) containers to a leading US radiopharmaceutical client. This latest delivery expands the client’s operational fleet to 36 units and will support the international transport of short-lived radioisotopes from reactors/accelerators to radioligand therapy (RLT) manufacturing facilities. Radioligand therapy is a form of precision medicine that combines a tumour-targeting molecule (ligand) with a therapeutic radioisotope, enabling radiation to be delivered directly to cancerous tissue while minimising exposure to surrounding healthy tissue.

The deployment of these containers will help support the continued growth of the radiopharmaceutical sector and the increasing demand for innovative cancer treatments worldwide.
