Congratulations to Greg Tilling and Chris Shaw on completing the Oxford Half Marathon, raising a total of £1,230 for charity

Croft would like to congratulate two of our Design Engineers, Greg Tilling and Chris Shaw, who ran the Oxford Half Marathon on Sunday 11th October. The route took them past some of Oxford’s most iconic historic buildings, through the streets of Summertown and Cutteslowe, and around the green spaces of University Parks and Old Marston. They both completed the 13.1-mile course in under two hours – a very impressive achievement!

Alongside completing this physical challenge, Greg and Chris also raised an incredible amount of money for their chosen charities. Greg chose to support Alzheimer’s Society, a charity close to his heart. He raised an amazing £605, which will go towards supporting people living with dementia and their families, as well as funding life-changing research. Chris raised a remarkable £625 for Be Free Young Carers, a local Oxfordshire charity dedicated to helping young carers aged 8 to 17 improve their mental wellbeing, build confidence and have fun.

The Croft team is incredibly proud of Greg and Chris for their fantastic achievement and fundraising efforts in support of two great causes.
