Croft has successfully met the criteria for the Award of NEF Assured Nuclear; the first SME in the nuclear field to receive this prestigious Award. The Award was made at the Innovisions 2014 Conference on 4th December 2014, at the Institute of Directors, 116 Pall, London SW1Y 5ED, by Baroness Verma, the Minister of Energy and Climate Change. Croft is the first SME in the nuclear field to receive this prestigious Award, and this is something we are very proud of. NEF Assured (Nuclear) is the industry specific standard for assuring deliverers of training in the nuclear sector. The standard has been specifically developed to assure the quality of training that is delivered ‘in-house’ by nuclear organisations. This outcome focused standard helps organisations operating in the nuclear sector to enhance their approach to training. It recognises the need for continuous improvement and for training to impact directly on business objectives. NEF Assured (Nuclear) provides a highly valuable, independent validation of an organisation’s approach to training which is recognised by the National Skills Academy Nuclear of which Croft is a member. The standard highlights performance in six areas – strategy and planning, engagement, design and delivery, innovation, standards and impact.
