Description

A range of Torque Tools have been developed for tightening Transport Container can closure lids to the predetermined torque setting defined in the packing and handling instructions, as required by the transport approval licence.

The Torque Tool is offered as a direct replacement for hook and pin spanners.  The single unit is designed to provide a safe and repeatable means of tightening container can closure lids to the specified closure torque by a single operator.

The Torque Tool is preset before delivery to the specified torque for the Containment Can (range 50 Nm to 200 Nm) and supplied with a certificate of calibration.  The tool also incorporates a reversible ratchet for removing can lids.  Information on torque devices outside this range can be provided on request.
