NRC Certificate issued for Safkeg-LS (3979A)
The NRC has approved the Safkeg-LS Model # 3979A with the issue of certificate USA/9337/ B(U)-96 on January 24, 2011. This is the first general purpose Type B package to be approved by the NRC for many years and is now the only package currently approved for contents which in the past have been shipped in the DOT Spec 6M package for which the DOT package authorization expired on October 1, 2008.... CALT 9 now fully in use to replace CALT 8 and CALT 5
